This small-dispersed campsite is located on the south end of this lake. It is approximately 17 miles east of Eagle River via State Highway 70 and Forest Rds. 2176 and 2140. A short footpath leads from the parking area to the campsite. There is a fire ring, picnic table, and wilderness type toilet. McKinley Lake is known for its excellent bluegill and bass fishing. Loons are a common site on this lake. The entire shoreline is under National Forest Ownership. No camping allowed in parking area. No motors.
